LayConnect

About

A small team, on purpose.

LayConnect is a software studio. We are small, we are remote, and we work across Europe, North America and Africa. We take on work we can be accountable for, which puts a hard limit on how much of it we take at once.

Confidentiality

Why our case studies carry no names.

Because a client's name is theirs. We describe our work by sector, country, problem and result, and we do not publish client names, domains, logos or people. That rule covers the work we have already done, and it would cover yours.

How we work

Four commitments.

Boring tools where it matters
We pick tools that whoever maintains this in two years will recognise on sight. Novelty is a cost, and it is usually paid by someone who is not in the room when it is chosen.
Privacy by default
Least data collected. Encrypted storage. Access rules on every table. Nothing kept that does not need to be kept, and anything non-essential switched off until someone asks for it.
One team, from mockup to operations
The people who build it are the people on call for it. Nobody hands your system to a support desk that has never read it.
Everything tested
Accessibility, security headers and end-to-end checks gate every release. A release that cannot pass the gate does not ship, and a gate that does not block is not a gate.

Where we are

Remote, and honest about it.

We work across Europe, North America and Africa. There is no office to visit, and we do not pretend otherwise. Everything reaches us at one address, and a person reads it.

Then you probably have something you want built, fixed, or taken off your hands.
